Patsy Moreland has worked for the creative industry as a designer, technical writer, author and instructor. She is able to take a fiber technique from idea to finished piece. Written instructions clarify the process for manufactures, special interest book publishers, and the art making public.

Samples for trade show booths are her specialty.
Give her your materials and she will come up with the
ideas and the finished project. Give her an mere wisp of an idea and she can bring it to fruition with a project.

All That Jazz
20.5"x 28"

Made for and published in "New Ways to Applique". a House of White Birches book.

This work was designed around one piece of fabric that had a theme. Die cut confetti and stars were cut using the AccuCut system, tiny buttons and button hands stitched on, multi- color fusible bias by Clover, and music notes and instruments were hand cut from the fabric. Stitched in the ditch and hand tied with DMC perle
cotton. Strip pieces are an idea for a wall border.

The overall design has as much rhythm as jazz. A close up reveals the playful and musical themed fabric. Step by step directions were included in the chapter highlighting Patsy Moreland's work.
